Did you know you can create your own dozen of custom cookies in just 3 simple steps?

I had the pleasure of visiting Cincinnati’s first create a dozen, Davis Cookie Collection located in Bond Hill, Cincinnati! The masterminds behind this unique local business are owners, Christina and Miles Davis. And boy oh boy it’s safe to say they took gourmet desserts to a whole new level!

From the moment I walked in I knew I would enjoy this visit in every aspect! I was welcomed with a warming acknowledgment from behind the counter, the cleanliness was out of this world, the inside was super cute & the the sweet-smelling of fresh baked homemade cookies immediately began calling my name!

I didn’t hesitate for a second to figure out exactly what i wanted, it was a must to try a dozen of custom fresh baked cookies!

Step 1. Choose your toppings

There were so many toppings to choose from so I got a little unique and chose 3 toppings, rainbow sprinkles, white chocolate chips and Oreos.

Step 2. Watch your cookies be prepped and baked within minutes

Watch your cookie dough get mixed with your toppings, sorted on the cookie tray, shaped & baked within minutes! This part was so exciting for me and I’m an adult! I can only imagine how cool this place is for kids who get to experience the create your own dozen!

Step 3. Enjoy!

Enjoy your dozen of freshly baked homemade cookies! The perfection of my cookies were out of this world, they were so warm and fluffy!

I also tried their signature banana pudding milkshake topped with whipped cream and vanilla wafers! It reminded me of my aunt Tracy’s famous banana pudding which is my favorite so this milkshake was definitely a hit on my foodie list!

Lastly I tried their new menu item, a fudge brownie ice cream crumble bowl! It’s vanilla bean ice cream topped with their delicious homemade brownie and chocolate! Not only does it sound amazing! But it tastes amazing!!!

Overall my entire visit did not disappoint in any way, shape or form! If you haven’t gotten the chance to experience this amazing local sweet shop then you’re missing out!

Chef Jay understood the assignment when it comes to his menu at his restaurant Big Jays Place!

Not everyone can say they know how make a meal from scratch that actually tastes delicious but Chef Jay definitely understood the assignment when it comes to his menu at his restaurant Big Jays Place. I made a stop at Big Jays Place earlier this week and all I can say is “WOW” i was completely blown away with every single entrée I tried. Not only was the food out of this world, but the customer service was also unmatched! Let me give you a better look at the deliciousness I got to experience during my visit at Big Jays Place!

I started off by trying their signature Rasta Pasta which is a jerk chicken Alfredo made with jerk chicken, broccoli and peppers. The very first bite i took was everything, the pasta was so creamy and the consistency was perfect i tasted every bit of flavor! Everything was perfectly seasoned and made to perfection, if i ever want Rasta pasta, Big Jays Place is exactly where I’d get it from.

I also tried their salmon plate smothered in jerk sauce served on top of cilantro rice with cabbage. I know it sounds like I’m repeating myself but goodness. It was amazing. The cabbage still had a little crunch to it which was so delicious and perfect and the salmon was so fresh you’d think it got caught that morning!

Next, I tried their loaded mashed potatoes it was loaded with cheese, chives, peppers, Turkey bacon and chipotle ranch. When i say this is literally the best loaded mashed potatoes I’ve ever had in my life. There are no words to explain how flavorsome each bite was.

Next entrée i had was the soul food plate including jerk chicken wings, cilantro rice, Mac & cheese and collard greens with Turkey sausage. Once again i was blown away with how perfect all of the flavors collided with each. If you need an appetizing home cooked meal, this is the exact entrée I’d recommend!

The last entrée I tried was curry chicken it was flat out mouthwatering. If you want to know how it taste, Just go see for itself because the food at Big Jays Place is just delicious and worth the trip!!

Even with all of these entrees, your girl couldn’t forget to taste a dessert. Honey when I say this southern style pound cake and sweet potato pound cake was DELICIOUS! It was literally made with heart and soul! All in all, my experience at Big Jays Place was flawless. Chef Jay did amazing with his establishment and menu! There is something on the menu that EVERYONE can enjoy, he even has plant based options for nearly every menu item! And just when I thought the menu couldn't get any better, Chef Jay dropped a bomb on me "We have Oxtail Fridays until we sell out". I was so disappointed in that moment because it was only Tuesday. I'll definitely be back to taste the Oxtail Entrée! There’s only one way to find out if Big Jays Place is as good as I explained , go see for yourself! Your taste buds won’t lie to you. Here’s 5 reasons why Mom ‘N ‘Em Coffee is somewhere everyone should try at least once in their life

If you’re looking for a place you can relax and get some work done but also have breakfast food and beverages then I have just the place for you! I checked out Mom ‘N ‘Em Coffee and it was such an amazing experience!

Local entrepreneurs Austin and Tony Ferrari came up with the amazing idea “Mom ‘N ‘Em Coffee” to give back to their mother. As you see, their mothers face is the logo which is awesome. Not to mention Mom ‘N ‘Em Coffee was ranked the 5th best coffee shop in America in 2019

I started off by trying their signature “Dirty Nati” Egg Samich which was made with a fluffy English muffin, bacon (I got mine without bacon) egg, Provolone arugula. The egg Samich was literally out of this world and full of so much flavor that there was nothing that could make this Samich any better!

I also had a vanilla latte which was made with love and a legit heart with latte art, which was soooo delicious! I also tried their Cinnamon Toastie which reminded me of the times my mom and I would make toastie in the oven with butter and brown sugar cinnamon. It really made my heart smile when it made that specific memory came to mind.
